Abnormally Slow

This past week, my computer has started to crawl. I have scanned for viruses
and spyware, but my system is as clean as can be. The display reverts from
the XP 3D to the 9x flat. Outlook express has also started taking 30+
seconds to startup.

I have had no changes to my computer since this has started. Programs like
Photoshop and Outlook have never been so slow. Just wondering if I should
change my virtual memory or anything to fix it.

System Specs:

Pent 4 3.2GHz 1GB RAM
250GB HDD


CPU usage is about 5-10% when idle, and the System Idle Process takes 90-98%
when I do ANYTHING.

In addition, you can also go to Start>Run>(enter) Prefetch>Ok. Then
highlight all files shown, and delete them.
