abnormal program termination I Explore

Every time I try to open up a web page that needs a user
name or password on ie6 I get an error message
"Microsoft Visual C++ Run Time Library"
Program: C:\program files\InternetExplorer\IExplore.exe
abnormal program termination.
This has happened eversince I unintstalled Norton Anti
virus & then reninstalled it. Any suggestions. Thanks.

This was being caused frequently by a Kazaa plugin, common names. Check
add/remove programs for CN, common names, etc. I've heard that other BHOs
can also cause it. I haven't heard of NAV being involved. That may be
coincidence.

If you don't find common names, try:
