ABM files stached on my computer

hp pavilion 520c windows xp home spc1

One of my limited user has figured out a way to store abm files (example:
background_1.abm) on our family computer. Can any one help me open these
files so that I can know what they contain.

That's not a standard Microsoft file extention. It is an extention that
could be a Hitplayer Audio Album or a Photo Impressions 2000 Album file.
Install each of these apps to find out which it is.
