Abit or Nvidia mobo drivers?

Abit has v6.67 drivers on their site. Nvidia has theirs on their site. Got
a preference?

Even though the Abit version and date are newer, the sound drivers in their
package (Soundman from Realtek) suck. In fact, the drivers are for NT4.
Win2k or XP isn't even listed. I unistalled them and went to the Nvidia.
Seems to be better, but still some gaming issues, I'm sure related to sound.

I suppose the best solution would be to go with off-board sound. It's only
money...

Separate sound card is always the best bet, and most solid option.
