ABIT KR7A- RAID Processor upgrade

Hi,

I am delaying getting a new motherboard for as long as possible so was
wondering what is the fastest Processor I could use in the ABIT KR7A-RAID
motherboard?

At the moment I have an Athlon XP 2400+ CPU.

I'll be doing the same soon, currently I have an XP 1600+.
I'm assuming you mean standard cpu without overclocking. I've done a little
searching and believe you can fit one as long as its fsb is 266 MHz. Try the
