Ok both Walking dead and Skyrim will not run via steam or desktop shortcuts

They update then shut down. I go to check steam and steam shuts down
However they are running in file manager

I have check file integrity of both games and they are fine


Not impressed.

Any suggestions?

Glad you got it working - what was the problem in the end?

TBH i'm not really sure.

I reinstalled Direct X, check the controller.ddl thingy updated both games again and reinstalled Steam then rebooted

Been playing WAlking dead today and it seems fine. Had 5 mins on Skyrim and that seemed ok aswell
