A97 - Incorrect reporting of record count

[Roger]

In a select query, which obtains data from various other tables and queries,
the total number of records reported at the bottom of the query window may
be less than the actual number of records returned. This error is small and
may vary with each run.
Searched MSKB but not found anything on this - has anyone any info or
solutions?

What is your proof that the numbers don't match?
Are you counting the New Record as one?
