A8V Deluxe with Zalman CNPS7000A-ALCU cooler

Has anybody tried running this without using FanMate1 and just used the
Q-Fan2 to control the fan speed? If so how quiet was it?

Yes, works great, the Fanmate just gives you a chance to operate it in al
lower mode than you mb will in highspeed. But anyway I do not hear it at
all, wether using fanmate or not.

Thanks for the information! I will have to try that out today when I
finish building my new machine.
