I just purchased this board ..works great so far ..i have 2 strips of 256
ddr pc 2100 infineon ram ,now .would there be a noticable difference if i
added pc 3200 512 stick extra or will the frequancy drop ?.
or should i sell the 2 256 and buy the single 512 mb pc 3200,and perhaps buy
an extra 512
on sale here for 99$ cdn ?..thanks

do not mix and match memory..and unless you are going to OC or buy an FSB400
CPU why bother...

It all depends on what FSB your cpu uses. PC2100 is ok for FSB of 133. If
you need a higher FSB 166 or 200 then get PC2700 or PC3200 accordingly. Or
if you want to overclock your cpu by rasing the FSB.

you should...these motherboards like to run in sync...if you start adjusting
it to maintain your CPU but up the FSB you tend to have some difficulties.
in sync (that is cpu and FSB both at 100%..133 mhz...)

If I set my FSB higher will i need to change my cpu as well ?.i have athalon
xp 2000 .the board i have is 400 fsb .
