Hi and sorry for my bad english
since I changed my k7s5a pro mobo to an a7s8x-e deluxe one, I never had
sound (mid or else except the buzzer)

I looked the archives of google, installed the latest nvidia drivers,
but nothing (after deleting-ininstalling the older drivers)
The bios is the latest, my HP are ok (I tried them on my second PC)

What else : adaptec 2940 PCI with a scsi CD burner,
asus 9520 video card 128 mo
2 ide drives
2 ide dvd (one tdk burner and one plextor reader)
2*512 ddr
all runs fine except the sound,
I'm desesperate so, if anyone vould help, thanx in advance,

check the FPAUDIO jumpers to make sure the 2 jumpers
are in place. The line outs <> Bline outs should be shorted with a
jumper. " ::|:| " (see the mobo manual).

one jumper was drinking a beer at the corner of the street ;-))
I replaced it, and all works fine now !
