Does it matter whether you use Com 1 or Com 2 for a modem? Is one port
any better than the other? Thanks.

I presume your asking in reference to an external modem. If so, no
matter which is used. Better, Com1, as it's already on the backplane.
Com2 requires it's bracket installed.
