a7n8x deluxe bios 1007 error?

Hi,

I think there is a problem with the new 1007 bios...
When i enable system and user password in the bios and the system
comes to the s-ata bios when booting, it stops booting after trying to
detect drives on the s-ata controller. until i press a key....
After i press a key it continues booting like it should normally.
This didn't happen with previous bios versions and i've got no drives
connected to the s-ata controller.

Can anyone else confirm this problem?

(I tried it only on mij 1.04 rev. of the board, not with the rev. 2.0
yet)

Micky.

That's correct with 1007. If you have no drives then you can disable it
with a jumper on the motherboard.

Move the one marked SATA in the picture to the opposite position.

Thanks Derek, i knew that but i was just wondering why it continues
booting with the previous bios versions and not with 1007.
(with updated s-ata bios)
