A7N8X booting from sata

Will the A7N8X-Dlx boot from a sata drive if set in BIOS to boot on a scsi.

I read on the Asus FAQ that the SATA-drive automatically takes
precedence before the IDE-drive, it should not be necessary to set any
boot-preference in the bios if you want the sata to boot instead of
the ide-drive...

I am not sure what the default BIOS setting is, as I have set mine to SCSI
and disabled all the other options - mainly to speed up booting.
