A78NX-ED and Windows XP

Two questions;

1.
Computer freezes when the hard drive comes out of sleep mode. Does not wake
up if I enable Hibernation under Power in the Display properties.

2.
I have a WD 160GB IDE HD and it only displays 149GB under XP SP1a.

Any help and suggestions are very much appreciated.

It's not going to show as 160Gb
That's unformatted size not formatted.
What you get after formatting is less.
149Gb formatted size is about right.
I have a 120Gb Hd and when formatted it is around 110Gb
