A whole bunch of problems

I own an Acer T320, and it will not go into Standby mode without waking up. I
dont have computer skills, so talk in the easiest language as possible. Also
whenever i connect to the interent a pop-up frum microsoft windows comes up
and says i need to download antivirus2005 pro to prevent hackers and about 7
windows from them pop up onto my computer. I cannot find the serial number to
take it in n get fixed.

A popup which "says i need to download antivirus2005 pro to" is most likely adware/spyware
and based upon the additional popups i'd say that you are infected.


Please download, install and update the following software...

Ad-aware SE v1.06

SpyBot Search and Destroy v1.4

After the software is updated, I suggest scanning the system in Safe Mode.

I also suggest downloading, installing and updating BHODemon for any Browser Helper Objects
that may be on the PC.
