Hi,

I would like to make it easy for my colleagues to save attachments to
one very specific, but obsure, directory. We have Outlook 2003 and I
have not been able to find a way to add a directory to the left panel
in the "Save As" dialog or even have a link ot Favorites somehow.

I am hoping that this is possible, however. Is it?

Many thanks in advance!

With Windows XP, yes, but each person will need to do this on his or her
own. In that Save As dialogue box, browse once to the folder where you wan
the messages saved and then click Tools>Add to My Places. This will add a
shortcut to the folder to the "Save In" pane on the left. A person can then
simply select that shortcut to jump directly to that folder. This is a
basic Windows XP function and is not specific to Outlook. It will affect
the Save As dialogue for all applicaitons.

Perhaps there is a way to do this by altering the registry? I'm hoping
there's some simple way of automating this process for my users.

Thank you very much!
