A strange question about the icon displayed

I am using the latest version of MS Antispyware downloaded today.

The icon displayed in the task bar at the bottom right of the screen has a
strange ragged edge to it, looks like small black dots around the edge, not a
smooth round edge as the icon normally displayed, and as is displayed on
other pcs I have the software on?

Please can any tell me why and how to fix it.

What is desktop resolution colour quality set to? If its 16-bit, you will
see that, try setting it to 32-bit. Also, the icon is not final, so expect
more changes to come in beta 2.

Thank you changing the res did the trick
