Hi there!

Do you have a suggestion/solution to setting up a 'solid' expens
sheet(s)?

Current situation:
The expense sheets are used by several people when expenses occu
during one month. Due to that I don't want people inserting/deletin
rows and for printing purposes, I have created 4 expense sheets with
summary on the first sheet.

It all works fine, but I would like a better 'solid' solution to thi
since it is tedious working with 4 sheets.

Any suggestions would kindly be appreciated :-)

Roge

What do you mean by 'solid' Expense sheet? Create 1 sheet with all
possibilities you have listed on the 4 sheets? Make the original a template and
unchangable

Thanks for the input Lady L.

I am not sure if you understood me when I said I used 4 sheets. Th
reason I am using 4 sheets is as explained that I don't want othe
users to insert rows as expenses occur. Do you have a description o
how you create this 'one' sheet does it all?

You could protect your worksheets. Then they won't be able to add/delete rows.

Make sure you Format|Cells|protection|Unlock for any cell that should allow user
input.

This'll stop most. But worksheet protection can be broken pretty easily. So if
your users are dedicated to inserting a row, you won't be able to stop them.
