a sad farewell to FrontPage

I understand that FrontPage is all but history with the advent of
Expression Web. But I hate to see FP go, since it has served my
website <campfanninrollofhonor.com> well for a long time -- that is,
'til recently. Always I was able to open a file in my site and edit it
with FrontPage, then deposit the revised file back onto the Web for
universal viewing. Now when I attempt to open a file, I get this
message: "There was an error when trying to open FrontPage (Open as
HTML). The command: blank failed." How do I fix that problem?

Also my File button no longer offers a "Edit with Microsoft FrontPage"
option. How do I get that option back?

What happens when you try to open your web the normal way;
Open FP
File | Open Web/Site
enter your local copy address or your remote server address

?

Also sounds like your thinking Frontpage will kinda "Expire",
if it works for you - as it does for many - you don't HAVE to
update and buy the replacement - just carry on using it,
it isnt going to up'n'expire one day - and cease to function.
:)
