Im way way out of touch when it comes to CPU's these days, but how does a
Intel P2.4 800 fsb compare against a AMD Sempron 2800+ 64Bit Architecture

The Intel CPU is, 7th from the bottom of the chart and, the AMD CPU is
8th, from the bottom of the chart.

Not enough difference to talk about. Both are older generations of
processors and you probably wouldn't notice any 'real' difference in actual
apps. The Sempron would probably be a bit better for gaming and the P4
probably a bit better if you do video if it has HT and your apps support it.
64bit has no advantage unless you are running a 64bit OS.

Probably the most important difference to most people is that the
Sempron will cost a fair bit less money.
