I think, through reading through all this, is that the host could have solved your problem and didn't...or didn't have a knowledgable enough staff to know they could have kept you as a paying client.

To me that is not good business, or good Customer Service. Keep the ones you've got! It's easier than getting new business!

There are a number of websites that accept reviews of web hosting services
from customers. Vicki might want to let the world know about the incompetent
(and insensitive) response of her hosting service. It won't get her a
refund, but it might help her feel she's evened the score a bit, and helped
others avoid these shmucks.

A factual summary of what they did will probably be more effective than a
diatribe.

Personally, I'd also send the president of the hosting outfit a link to each
review site that carries the negative comment.
