a question regarding appearance on xp

Why is it Microsoft only offers the three colors with their skins? olive
green, blue, and silver? Why couldnt they have transfered the colors of
their classic (that they have on xp) to their streamline look? That has
bugged me for years lol. Is it really that hard or more difficult for a
computer to have different colors? To the same scheme all i am saying is
that different colors would be cool. I have style xp which is good and
better than windowblinds, but, there is a slight performance drop to the xp
skin. But not as much of a drop than the windowblinds. And rollup windows
i like rollup windows. however, i guess thawt is different, but, just was
curious why microsoft hasnt offered more colors for skins in their
streamline. Style xp has some grape colors one green and blue and silver
but not any other color that looks like xp stream lol. Offer all the colors
to fil the skins lol. That could be something that microsoft could do and
offer in a windows update or something right? and if the person doesnt want
it thgey dont have to download the update. thanks in advance

There must be a question in that ramble somewhere.. If you use Style XP and
you can't find a Visual Style you like, I would be surprised; there are
hundreds of 'em. As to the performance hit you take using any 'effect' or
GUI enhancement, that is a given, you want fancy enhancements, you take a
little hit, and as you pointed out, WindowBlinds doesn't seem as useable as
StyleXP.
As for a windows rollup feature, you can find a good one and it is even
Free at 'Freeshade', ..use your browser. It does a rollup of the window or
windows open to just a toolbar at the top of your screen. It's easy and
doesn't use much CPU cycles...

Thanks, i just was wondering why microsoft wouldnt have added more colors.
Style Xp is good though. You know, maybe microsoft could in t heir next
version, let the user design the appearance. Like, have the outline, but
let the end user choose colors and mix match within the frame of theis use.
This would be even greater. To go even further to allow the end user to
design the look of the whole system. There must be a userfriendly way to do
this so therefore it doesnt requ ire programming because Microsoft could use
wizards and such. The wizards are what make xp so user friendly. Next,
next, next, finish.
