A new error

Yeah, it's me again. I am running XP Pro on a fresh install. Some older
games will not run and I get the following error.

c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for
running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose "Close" to
terminate the application.

The program will not ope and does not even display. only th error.
Choosing "Close will exit the application and selecting "Ignore" does the
same thing.

Any ideas?
