before downloding and unrarring the game Myst IV on my computer, my C: is
almost full wih fragmented fiels, even after defragmentation. How can I get
these files removed?
With clean up it didn't work.

maybe you should download a trailware called
systemmechanic and run all the options it has.
It has more than just defrag to clean up your system.

Decreasing the amount of stuff on a hard disk by downloading still more
stuff onto it. Interesting theory.

Is your disk full or is it fragmented? They mean different things. What
tool are you using to see this problem, and what exactly is it that you
are seeing?

Unless someone can analyze his computer and
make modifications, it would be easier to get a software to do.

( Got to spend money to make money.
No different for data....)

No, cleanup will not help file fragmentation. You remove the files by
copying them to cd or dvd (if you want to keep them).

You need sufficient free space for the defragmentation effort to succeed.
If your disk really is almost full, perhaps a new and bigger one is in your
future.
