Considering Corliss' rantings about other peoples OT posts in ACF, I find
it hypocritical of Corliss to make similiar OT posts. And not even an
[OT] in the subject line.

Seems like netkopper Corliss is against OT posts, but the rules don't
apply to him.

Correct me if I am wrong.
 
fwiw, i thought the cartoon was funny. I can imagine the tension, you
know, like it gets on here sometimes. Man, just the mention of linux
and windows in the same sentence and there is a loooooong thread.

Heh. Well, lets see now... one of the guys in the cartoon was reading a
magazine named "Linux Jihad" and I believe that the majority of Linux
distros are still freeware.

There is a huge world of difference between being off topic by
recommending non-freeware in this group and posting a link to a cartoon.
Nontheless, you're right. Since people are going to think it was off
topic, I should have put (O.T.) in the subject line. That error has been
corrected with this post.

group is supposed to be specifically for the discussion of freeware, not
"free stuff."

By your rules, you should never have posted it in ACF. You should have
found a more appropriate newsgroup.

Why should he shut up his F?


A world without F?.... You mean it consists only of H and some D and E
for dumb workers.
Maybe you see a G one time :-) but I would not recommend you an A, B or
C (though it is Possible to see C). D is probably but E and F makes the
bunch.

So let F be as they are!!!
