A Little Help - Capturing Streamed Video

Do not know if this is the right forum for this.

Running Win XP Home

If you sign on one of the networks web pages, you can watch video real time
(i.e. part of a news broadcast)

Is there any way to capture this video. While it is playing, I would assume
that it has downloaded some type of temporary file on the machine.

Would it be possible to go to the temp file and rename it, saving it.

Appreciate any help

Hi,

Streaming media are composed of different files that are transmitted and
played one by one. There is no copy of the full media in your cache.

There are some streamrippers around, but you have to know if it's legal to
rip the stream. Please ask the publisher.
