A "Favorites" category (folder) gone (I.E.)

I log onto Internet Explorer today to find that my most important
folder listed under "favorites" has disappeared. This is a folder I
named "Accounts", and it has all of my most important links in it.

I can find out all of the links again after searching for them. But
what a hassle. Does anyone know where a deleted Favorites
folder/category goes if it was deleted? Not in my trash bin

Why don't you try using the Windows Search facility (on
the Start Menu) to look for anything named Accounts,
perhaps you'll find it . . . Good Luck !

you can also recover it from your most recent backup. Favorites are
included when you run a routine backup specifying "Documents and Settings".
