A database created in Access 2000 and 2003 shows "replica"

I need to create new macros but it is not allowed (it is greyed out) - how
can I change this database from "replica" to regular?

Well, is this really a member of a replica set? If so, where is the
Design Master? Is that functionality still required? If you are
absolutely sure this database is no longer required to act as a replica...
Tools=>Replication=>Recover Design Master
