A Business Waiting to be Launched

I think a lot of people would be willing to send their HDs to
someplace and have Vista removed and XP installed. I know I would be
one of the first customers. I am not techie enough to do it myself but
would sure like to be able do find a place to have it done.

While it was gone I could use my old XP machine (which gets used for
about 60% of my work) until I got it back and then I would have a nice
new power machine running XP Pro SP3 which with 4 times the RAM and a
much better processor then my old box would really scream. Right now,
for surfing, I use the old XP box because it more stable and actually
faster.

Oh well, I can dream.

This company would go out of business as soon as people start accepting
Vista. Then, I suppose, you'd want a business to reformat Windows 7 drives
and install Vista? <0.o resistant to change>

self-esteem issues they must have ;-)"

Yes you can.

Yea, you can dream. Personally I have grown to like Vista. After a few
weeks of getting to know it and it getting to know me, I prefer it. Sorry
you can't say the same.

If you believe what you say, why not start your own business? I guess
you don't really believe it do you?

Let's face facts. The great majority of users have had no problems and
therefore they don't post messages here about how they did not have a
problem. How many copies of Vista have been sold? How many people have we
had with complaints? What one out of a thousand, a hundred thousand what?

People would have to send their computers, not just the hard drives. If
you want to go back to XP, you will have to find out if your hardware is
Vista only or not. IOW, no XP drivers, no can do. Take your computer to
a local computer shop, not Wal Mart or Best Buy, and have them do it for
you.

Or you could take your computer to Alias and while you wern;t looking, he
would wipe out Vista and XP and install Ubuntu on your machine. Then you
would be royally screwed.

Just FYI
