_vti_cnf folder

Hey!

I've been using Frontpage 4 some years now, but I just
hate the folder _vti_cnf, that FP creates everytime I
change something in my web. How do I "turn off" this
function... I don't even now what the folder does, but I
donøt use it, and it pissed me off that it's there
everytime. Why does FP make this folder? And how do I
tell FP not to make that folder everytime?

Because it is how FrontPage keeps
track of your web pages and their updates,
and also the navigation structure or page and file
dependencies for the web.
Do not remove them.

The _vti folders are the FP extension folders that have helped you over the
past 4 years to manage your web content. These folder are created and
managed by FP. If you don't want the _vti folders, then you need to find
another HTML application.
