I'm serious. If you don't want to socialize with someone then don't.
One newsgroup I frequent has two posters, one of whom sometimes says
something worth saying, who will post hundreds of messages saying
basically "I don't want to talk to you", "well I don't want to talk to
you", "well I don't want to talk to you". It gets ludicrous.

So if you don't want to socialize with someone then don't socialize with
them, it's that simple.
