9800 pro problem :(

Hi guys,
just bought video card through internet and it does not work as it
should be.VGA port does not work at all, when i hook up CRT monitor
through DVI connection and converter it looks very bad. please take a
look to the pictures:

Ati Radeon 9800 pro, 128mb ddr, w/crt, TVO % DVI - OEM.

any ideas ?

Ebay the biggest scam of the 20,21 and 22 century.


If its from an online retailer send it back get a refund or
placecemnt.

That looks all the world like the power supply could be the culprit. But
knowing the card is from EBay it could easily be defective. Try the newest
drivers and be sure to uninstall the older drivers and use driver cleaner.
If your power supply is around 250-300 watts it is too weak or borderline at
best, especially if you have a couple of hard drives and a CD drive or two.
Add some other peripherals and you have problems. If you have a friend or
two, try the card in their system first.
