98 client loses connection 2 mapped drive on DC

I recently updated to Windows 2000 and installed AD,
previously I was using an NT domain.
Now my 98 clients lose connection to mapped driver on the
Win2k DC after a period of time. But I can re-map them
to get them working again.
Does this have anything to do with DNS vs. WINS ?
 
Again, not really AD!

This will be the autodisconnect feature.
