Anybody running a 9700 Pro and Mech Warrior 4?
Any problems?

(I'm considering replacing my GF3 for a 9700)

Thanks,
Bill

That's what I have now, a GF3 Ti 200.
DX 9 makes it jerky. I need a card that can handle DX9 and I thought a
Radeon 9700 looks good.
Thanks,
Bill

I've played MW4:Mercenaries with a R9700 and it ran great. The thing
that R9700 helps a lot with MW4 is the mechlab. Mechlab is only in
800x600 res and can't be set to any other res. But with R9700 you have
very good AA wich helps the situation a lot.

i have had my powercolor 9700 pro from the first month or so it was released
and have had no problems out of it.
its nice haveing a video card that will run the new games at a good FPS and
with all the eye candy turned on.

i was thinking its time to replace it but after looking at bench marks of
the new cards, i think its a wast of monie. it holds up good against them at
a good price. now days it sells for $180 at newegg.
if i rember right i payed $370 for it or it may have been $470. i have
gotten my $ out of it thats for shur.
