9600 256MB Movie play back issue

When I play back movies of the Divx type in MS Media Player 9, I get red
dots in the screen. They show up only in the movie. I've tried a diffrent
monitor also.

System specs

ABIT IS7
512 ddr333 memory
2.4 cpu
Windows XP

Any ides?

Codec, remove and re-install the codec!
