9500 Pro conversion to 9700 Pro

Is it possible for me to convert my 9500 Pro to a 9700 Pro via software? I
don't have the "L" shaped memory version. Would it be worthwhile?

With 4 inline memory chips, it can't be done. You can still overclock, using
any of several free utilities. Check www.rage3d.com for downloads and read
the tweaking forum for advice.

Guess I'll just have to wait for the 9600XP . I'm not sure I read the
specs correctly but if I did it will use the 0.13 micron core while the
9800XP will stick with the 0.15 is that correct?
