I keep asking for an RMA from Asus but no responses. I tried their RMA
website, telephone, emails, no responses, nada. I even asked "pretty
please."

Anyone know how to get Asus to respond to an RMA request?

Dear Asus RMA Folks,
Me again, still trying to get an RMA. Next one will be CC: to
inquirer.com, maybe they'll enjoy sharing the frustration of trying to get
an RMA from you as much as I will on Asus newsgroups.

s#*****, RAM slots problem

What does it take to get an in-warranty RMA?

Motherboard A8N-SLI Deluxe s#*****5, RAM slots
problem: two RAM slots cause lockups whenever they have
RAM in them.

This is my 5th request for RMA since August 8th.
Thank you for ignoring my past requests but no kidding,
I really do need your help with this malfunctioning MB.
I've tried several methods of contacting you to get an
RMA: Rma website on 8/8, telephone on 8/10,
and emails on 8/12 & 8/13/05.

Trying to boot XP32bit or XP64bit it locks up if any ram is installed
in the two slots closest to the CPU. I tried 12 RAM configs using three
different sticks of PC3200. Other 2 RAM slots closest to the 24pin power
connector work fine. Same behavior with Althlon64 3400 & Athlon64 X2
3000. Also the chipset fan screams. On 8Aug05 I sent RMA requset
from rma.asus.com, only got email confirm, no RMA# .
On 10Aug05 I called (510)739-3777 & was told "Someone will email you
today" No one from Asus emailed or called. Can I get an RMA please.

Generally it is much faster to RMA boards through the supplier you
bought it from rather than Asus directly. They don't seem set up very
well to handle such requests themselves.
