835732 and IPSec

Is it possible to have a machine run IPSec after applying 835732? Also,
what is the proper way to apply this patch? Will it apply successfully from
safe mode? Or would it be safer to wait for an updated patch? TIA

Yes. IPSEC will run on machines after applying MS04-011. Not all machines
experienced the behavior you mentioned. There is a fix for most of those
issues. It is listed below.

There is not going to be a re-release of the patch. Install it as soon as
you can...SASSER...BOBAX...who knows what is next :)

Thanks for the reply. The patch appears to have installed properly after
some initial difficulties. However now qfecheck shows many previously
applied patches need to be reinstalled. What's up with that? Any help?
