80070008, WindowsUpdate_dt000. Thats the error im getting when i try to
install service pack 1. I have enough memory and all the requierments. I
tried troubleshooting the error with their service page. I am getting an
error when i try to install my webcam "not enough storage to install this
device" and i think the problam has to do with the same prob im getting from
trying to install sp1. Any help would help alot, im very stressed over this
issue.

You say you "have enough memory"...
HOW MUCH?

You say NOTHING about "free disk-space", since the Service Pack
requires a certain amount of free "working" space in order to unpack
its files before they can be installed.
HOW MUCH do you have?

Apparently, you don't have enough free space to install your webcam,
which probably only requires 50-100MB. How do you expect to have
enough to install the Service Pack, which requires at least 3GB-10GB
free space?

It appears that your System partition is simply TOO SMALL for Vista
and your user programs both.

Make it larger by at least 40GB.

I NEVER install Vista on LESS than a 100GB (free) partition. And I
NEVER have problems installing Service Packs and programs.
