64 bit cpu

I am running Home Edtion and i have a 64 bit cpu.
What i need to know is how to switch my cpu to 32 bit so it will run Windows.

I have have tried installing before and a message comes up saying.

"Error Loading Operating System"

Any Help???

a 64 bit cpu will run either a 32bit or a 64 bit OS without making any
changes...
so you may have some other issue

There is nothing to switch. Regular 32-bit Windows runs just fine on a
64-bit CPU without switching anything or doing anything special.

Look elsewhere for your problem.

OEM or retail version of Windows XP Home? Full version or upgrade?
