60gb hard drive..

I just installed a new 60gb 7200RPM 2.9" laptop hard
drive. after installing my software back to the way it
was plus more software the hard drive light burns
constant instead of blinking when the HD is accessed...
if anybody has a clue to this then email me at

We need more info here. What model of laptop? How did you put the software
back the way it was? Are you sure that the new drive is fully compatible
with your model laptop?
