Can I just put the DVD into the reader while in 5600? Or do I have to
boot from it and then install. I don't much care about the time it
takes because I can use my wife's machine for a few hours. When I
tried to boot it messed up my x64 but I'm pretty sure that was do to
BootItNG which I can hack around.
For an upgrade you have to run the DVD from within the OS you want to
upgrade.
