5 minute login w/Netbios on... 4 seconds w/out

We have server set up to map the students accounts to a
drive and their own folder (Which is why we need NETBIOS
turned on the local machines) but when they log into the
Domain it takes about 5 minutes. When we turn off NETBIOS
on the local machines it takes abour 4 seconds to
authenticate but it doesn't map to their folder. I don't
have roaming profiles set up.. Any suggestions ?????
 
Sane, can you post your DNS settings on your server and clients (ipconfig
/all) ? Are all your clients and server pointing to the same internal DNS
server ?
