5 Gb text file?

What is the biggest size text file you can import into Access 2000. I'm
trying to import a 5 GB and it has a problem.

Help will be appreciated

Access files have a size limit of 2 gb in "recent" versions, which I believe
would include 2000. Larger than that and you'd need to consider using SQL
server for data storage (back end) and Access for just the front-end user
interface.

Since the maximum size for the entire Access database is one or two
gig, you are not going to be able to import 5 Gig into it. I suspect you
are using the wrong tool for your job. You may be able to still use Access
via a SQL server.
