I am getting a box that says:
MSN6.EXE UNABLE TO LOCATE COMPONENT
This application has failed to start because MFC42.DLL was not found
Reinstalling the application may fix problem

I'm a computer idiot don't have a clue!
 
Start>Run>type in:regsvr32 %systemroot%\system32
\mfc42.dll>ok

if the above fails then try copying MFC42.DLL into %systemroot%\system.
