I recieve the following message when attempting to enter
a secure site. "Proper authorization is required for this
area. Either your browser does not perform authorization,
or your authorization has failed."

I am using Internet Explorer 6.0 with SP1.

I do not receive this error when using Netscape Navigator
7.

Any help appreciated.

Unfortunately, this isn't help - but a note. We're seeing
on our sites users (this has been thoroughly verified) who
have downloaded the Cumulative Security Patch released
last Friday (Q832894 as it appears in your about-help in
the browser) are loosing all of their form fields when
form-posting on a secure server. We're scrambling to find
a work-around, but all appears well with both our security
certificates & the code.

The Access Denied may be related to whatever bug in the
patch is causing the error we're seeing. What webserver
software are you using?

We are Netscape 2.0 with Coldfusion 5.0. The same problem
has been observeed on some of our sites running Apache &
PHP.

A bit off topic..kinda . I would like to use custom error pages, and am having trouble finding the location of the default pages
Regedit says:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AboutURL
But where is res://..I know this must be a foolish question..but Ive researched and found nothing on res:/
Thanks in advance-Doug
