40/80pins ide cable

Do I get more performens when I change all my ide cables from 40 to 80 pins?

Unless your IDE devices, (usually hard drives), are ATA66, ATA100, or ATA133,
you will see no difference. If they are, they will probably complain about
the 40 conductor, (not pin), cable, and if they do run it may be at ATA33.
