4 brand new freeware applications for your downloading pleasure!

FROM THE README
===============

All of these applications are free software. There is no guarantee
that they will work as expected or even at all. By using the software,
you agree that the author be held blameless for any damage caused
by them to files on your computer and your computer, too. These
programs fall under the category of "USE AT YOUR RISK."

None of these programs have been tested on any other operating system
other than Win 98 - except for A Clock which seemed to work fine on XP.

These program will not be available indefinitely. Grab them while
you can. I have far too many free programs written to possibly
promote them all. I don't try to. And I want to prevent
people linking to my site without consent.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

A Clock - A simple digital clock with alarm and a fun interface.
Requires Visual Basic 5 run-time libaries.

Restart - Causes the graphic shell (explorer) to close and reload.
If you can find some use for this application, let me
know what it is. Maybe I could use it, too.

RootBoot - opens an explorer window showing the contents of the
root directory of whatever drive it is on. For example,
if you put it on a floppy, and then run it, it would
open a window displaying the contents of the
floppy's root directory. Good program for CD-ROM
autorun for CDs you burn. Comes with Autorun.inf and
Rootboot.ico files. Place these files on root directory
of the CD along with RootBoot.exe.

End Task - mimics the End Task dialog from win 98. Let's you force a shut
down or terminate a running progam. Do not use on explorer windows
or it kills the explorer process and you will freeze your PC.
Do not kill apps unless you are sure that this is the right thing
to do as this program does not give them any chance to recover.
They die so quickly that they don't even know they died.

End Task does not show you programs that are running in your
system tray. Someday it will, but it is not doing it yet.
