3rd party file association manager program?

From Windows 95 to XP, I've been able to edit file associations add
custom commands such as 'open with notepad' at Windows
Exploer->Tools->Folder Options->File Associations. But the dialog size
is fixed, unresizable, very small and have to scroll very often to do
multiple editing. (This qustion is NOT about Windows Vista, but under
Windows Vista, this dialog is even gone. I have to find a 3rd party
program)

You may wonder 'why do you need to edit those information?' but I
install and uninstalled applications often and many times they don't do
their jobs cleanly. For example, the other day I installed and
uninstalled PhotoImpact, but I still see 'Edit with PhotoImpact' on the
context menu for .jpg.

So, is there any more convenient 3rd party program (freeware if
possible) to this job? I tried to search the internet by myslef but I
couldn't find a good one. All I found were an old app that was written
with Visual Basic 5.0 and another one that didn't provide good
features.

Thank you.

Whether it's about Vista or how to do something under Vista it's the same
thing. Ask in a Vista newsgroup. I gave you the name for the vista general
newsgroup in my last reply. Use it.
