3rd Party Control Suite Considerations

J

Jeff

I'd like to hear from any of you who have *actually used* any of the popular
3rd party control suites (e.g., offerings from ComponentOne, Infragistics)
for .NET Windows Forms application development.

What has been your experience? FWIW I was a huge fan of Infragistics COM
controls, but found their ASP.NET offerings to be substantially lacking. How
did they do with Windows Forms controls in .NET? How About ComponentOne, or
???

Thank you very much!

I know several groups using Developers Express components (ex Infragistics
users) who like them much better. I am going to have to swith UI components
soon, and that's what I'll buy.

DotNetBar rocks!

Not too mentio you've got 1 year free upgrade and I got plenty of goodies.
And, as far as single developer license is concerned, they are extremely
affordable.
Not too mention save for the learning curve and minor problem, it's a breez
to use their control ;-)

Hello Jeff,

I would like to invite you to try Nevron .NET Vision. The suite
features Nevron Chart for .NET, Diagram for .NET and User Interface
Suite for .NET.

The licensing model is very flexible and we are offering Professional
and Enterprise editions depending on the clients' requirements. Each
product in the suite can be purchased separately.

The evaluation version is free and is fully functional.

Hi Jeff,
I am using now the new Nevron .NET Vision suite and to tell you they
have made really great and feature rich component suite.
We mostly use the UI and the Diagram.
The UI is actually fast and the docking library is most comlete.
Just have a look at the Diagram features and youll know what Im talking
about.
From what Ive seen the Chart is also a high level component, but I
havent used it so far.

The team is very responsive and Im happy with the support (thanks guys
and congratulations on the release!!!)
